Metropolitan Police Cricket ClubMPCC finally played after 4 successive weather cancellations and defeated Hampshire CCC in the First Round of the PSUK. See the Latest Match Report for full details. Welcome to the Metropolitan Police Cricket Club web site. The club is based at Imber Court, Surrey, undoubtedly one of the finest cricket grounds in the South of England and we compete in the Ryman Surrey Championship. Having completed a successful 2011 campaign, disrupted and eventually derailed by the August Riots, the 2012 season will be another testing year for the MPCC with London hosting the Olympics. Consequently the Club will be running only one side this year, and won't be competing in Division 4 of the Surrey Championship as it typically would. However there will be friendlies against usual league opposition until July and the club will compete in the PSUK competition as normal. The club are always looking to recruit new players and anyone interested in playing for the MPCC should contact First XI Captain Russell Bryan via email at russell.bryan@met.police.uk we would love to see you at the Winter net sessions.
